It begins with a conversation. I hosted a book club with Co-Founder and Author of Final Bow for Yellowface, Phil Chan, and we had a conversation with members of the ballet and dance communities in the midwest via Zoom on October 8th, 2020.

I continue to have these important conversations with the next generation of dancers, asking them to think critically about tradition with a sense of responsibility to their communities and the integrity of the art itself.
